Iran Marches On

Posted on November 13, 2008 in Buy tadalafil

Iran has been busy while their Hezbollah proxies have been wreaking havoc within Lebanon. CTV News reports, Iran opened a plant today that produces heavy water which can be used to develop a nuclear bomb -- just days after a UN deadline for the nation to halt uranium enrichment. The ribbon was cut at the new plant just days after a Thursday United Nations deadline requiring Iran to halt uranium enrichment or face economic or political sanctions. Iran has ignored the UN Security Council's resolution, calling it illegal. The plant is capable of producing up to 16 tons of heavy water per year, according to reports. On its own, the heavy water facility is benign. But Iran is also building a heavy water reactor, which is scheduled for completion in 2009. The heavy water reactor, once completed, could run on natural uranium mined by Iran, as opposed to a light water reactor which would be fueled by enriched uranium. Another concern is that the spent fuel left over from a heavy water reactor can be used as a source for plutonium, which can be used in a bomb. Another crucial step in the nuclear cycle has been completed by Iran without any repercussions from the international community. The theocrats continually push the envelope when it comes to acceptable behaviour. Iran is destroying a formerly prosperous nation in Lebanon and are destabilizing the entire region as a result. Davis and Crist on Prescription Drugs

Charlie Crist expedition ads need Jim Davis votes against drug importation likewise Crist favors it. That is a shocking reversal, if veridical. It is amazing that Crist would strength the Democratic part Along prescription drugs more accuse Davis of the opposite. Setup closer trial, Crist's place is little as well than grandstanding indeterminate an appear with little current advantage. That was a oversize disclose a couple years over, but with the advent of Lesson D as Medicare recipients, importation from Canada hasn't been a front burner televise. Trimmed if Crist were elected, it is in fact doubtful this the Florida Legislature would do anything onward this supervene. Crist is hoopla to be acquainted to toe the turnout stair if elected. Is Rumsfeld suffering from early Alzheimer's?

Posted on October 17, 2008 in Prescription drugs online

How to explain Donald Rumsfeld vehement denial of things he previously said on camera and before congressional committees? Has George W. Bush's Strangelovian war secretary gone over the edge? Does this devious war-monger who is so full of himself think he can get away with anything he pleases? If his brain isn't being attacked by Alzheimer's disease might he have cooked it by ingesting toxic aspartame that he is responsible for getting the Federal Food and Administration to approve for human consumption? For instance, last Feb 20, a month before Bush's illegal invasion of Iraq, he said on PBS' The News Hour, in response to a question from host Jim Lehrer about whether the Iraqis would welcome the invaders, "There is no question but that they would be welcomed." Yet on Sept. 25, when a reporter brought up his pre-invasion comments to Lehrer, Rumsfeld said, "Never said that. Never did. You may remember it well, but you're thinking of somebody else. You can't find, anywhere, me saying anything like either of those two things you just said I said." In Sept. 18, 2002, testimony before the House Armed Services Committee, Rumsfeld that Saddam Hussein "has amassed large clandestine stocks of biological weapons." Those weapons included "anthrax and botulism toxin and possibly smallpox. His regime has amassed large clandestine stockpiles of chemical weapons, including VX and sarin and mustard gas," he said. He repeated those charges the next day before the Senate Armed Services Committee and kept hammering away in the weeks leading up to the invasion. Now Rumsfeld denies he made those statements. He is also weasling on comments he made in a March 30 ABC News interview when he emphatically said, regarding Saddam's alleged weapons of mass destruction, "We know where they are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat." During a Sept. 10 appearance before the National Press Club, he said, "I said, 'We know they're in that area.I should have said, 'I believe we're in that area. Our intelligence tells us they're in that area,' and that was our best judgment." Is this guy playing with a full deck or does he think the people are that stupid? We haven't quite gotten to the Memory Hole stage yet, but be assured that Rummy's Propaganda Ministry is working on it. Iowa Senator Takes Aim At Sex Workers

Posted on October 12, 2008 in Penis dysfunction

Washington --Hookers beware. Iowa Republican Senator Charles Grassley wants to use the U.S. tax code to put you in jail. A Senate committee approved legislation yesterday that would target criminals in the sex-slave trade as well as "run-of-the-mill pimps" using a new provision of the U.S. tax code. "This vile crime is under our noses in the United States," Grassley said, "And it's a no-brainer to have the IRS go after sex-traffickers. Prosecuting these tax code violations can get these guys off the street and yank from their grasp the girls and women they exploit." Using a mind-bending Catch-22, the new law will make it even more illegal to be a prostitute in this country. Pimps will now face up to ten years in prison for each person who works for them without filing a proper W-2. Also, the law will require more jail time for prostitution offenses and allows the IRS to guestimate unreported wages when assessing fines for sex workers. (Now, as a "john", can I write off my weekly visits to the local massage parlor as a tax deduction?) Some voices from the sex industry are expressing concern that the law will be too indiscriminate when choosing who to prosecute. "Forced labor, kidnapping should be targeted," said Carol Leigh of the San Francisco sex worker advocacy group, BAYSWAN, "but this legislation broadly targets the sex trade in general and could target your local strip club." Although Leigh agrees that legislation is needed, she believes this law takes us a step back when it comes to protecting women in the sex trade. "We want laws enforced against those who abuse us, against those who are violent, and enforcement of labor regulations," Leigh said. "This is the only truly effective way to protect the welfare of the women who work in the industry." buy software cheap oem software

White House decrees that it will answer no more questions from Democrats

Posted on October 10, 2008 in Prescription drugs online

According to Dana Millbank in last Friday's Washington Post, King George's director of the White House Office of Administration, Timothy A. Campen, sent an email to the majority and minority staffs of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees that all embarrassing questions from Democrats, regarding what the Bushies are doing with the people's money, will henceforth be submitted to the committee chairmen -- all Republicans, of course -- who then can decide whether to submit them in writing from the committee(s) or file them in the trash. Millbank said the wording of Campen's email suggested "the policy may extend to other inquiries about the functioning of the Executive Office of the President, but the immediate targets were the spending committees." Thomas Mann, a Brooking Institution government scholar, told Millbank that while this latest tactic (can you say flipping the bird?) to hide the Bushies' evil doings "violates long-standing norms," there is nothing the Democrats can do about it except "carp." Impeachment, anyone? How much more of the lies, the 9/11s, the bogus war on terrorism, the illegal invasions that are killing our troops and innocent civilians is Congress going to take? Surely there must be some sane Republicans on the Hill and some Democrats who can find their spines. buy software cheap oem software

AARP cheerleaders embrace GOP's poison pill prescription for seniors

Posted on October 09, 2008 in Prescription drugs online

The Bushies and the Republicans keep showing us time and time again that there is nothing they won't stoop to or lie about. Now, with one of their own, William D. Novelli, ensconced as chairman of AARP, they are on the path to their wet dream of destroying Medicare under the guise of providing drug benefits to senior citizens. By this time, most people are aware that this bill is nothing but another gift to the pharmaceutical and insurance industries. Yet, AARP, which is spending $7 million of its members' money on TV and newspaper ads, says it ain't perfect, but "we can't wait for perfect." Right, so you cut seniors' throats by prohibiting them from buying prescription drugs at much lower costs from Canada, require them to kick out an average of $35 a month, plus an annual deductible of $275, in exchange for getting up to 75 percent of their costs picked up by Medicare until they reach $2,200 in drug costs, after that they get nothing until they have paid $3,600 out of pocket to trigger the next phase that will pay 95 percent of their costs. Oh yes, this madness doesn't begin until 2006, so in the meantime poor seniors can continue choosing between buying food or prescription drugs, unless they want to buy, in 2004 and 2005, a discount card that will save them a whole 15 percent on their prescription costs, because the bill also makes buying prescription drugs from foreign sources illegal. Such a deal not! Then there is the part to force seniors -- except it's called giving them a "choice" -- out of the Medicare program and into private HMOs. So the healthiest will get picked off by the private insurers and the sickest will have to rely on what is left of the Medicare program. In both cases, premiums will continue to rise as nothing will be done to rein in costs. As a matter of fact, $12 billion of your tax dollars will be given, as a gift (called subsidies), to private insurers that offer basic health insurance. And these are just some of the horrors in this bill, which include increases in the Medicare deductible, premiums based on income, and cuts in payments to home health care services. Of course, a universal health care system for all is too simple for Republicans to contemplate. Never mind that it would save billions. Can't have that when it would deprive their biggest campaign donors -- the pharmaceutical and insurance industries -- of obscene profits. So, rather than these sham bills, why not just shoot everyone over 65 who suffers a costly illness? That later could be expanded to anyone who can't afford to pay for medical care or prescription drugs. It would be a hell of a lot kinder and help the overpopulation problem, too. buy software cheap oem software

A warm fuzzy for Veterans' Day

Posted on October 09, 2008 in Prescription drugs online

The Bushies who keep telling us how we must support our troops, while George tries to keep cutting their benefits, are now trying to prevent a group of Gulf War I veterans from collecting from Iraqi assests frozen in the US the money a court awarded them for the torture they were subjected to while being held as prisoners of war. While the Bush regime is trying to keep this move quiet, its lawyers, who so far are winning, thanks to an executive order Bush signed prior to illegally invading Iraq last March confiscating the Iraqi assests and converting them to assets of the US government, are arguing that the funds are needed to help rebuild Iraq. Last May, Bush signed a declaration that removed Iraq from the list of countries liable to court judgments for rights abuses and links to terrorism.. Watch out for Medical Bill Mistakes!

Posted on September 26, 2008 in Prescription drug insurance

My parents — retirees on Space Coast of Florida — have become especially vigilant about scrutinizing bills after spotting errors on a hospital bill a few years ago. While they were grateful for the excellent care, my folks were less than thrilled about questionable charges for phantom treatments. “We successfully challenged the charges and they took it off,” my mother said. “You can go directly to the billing department and ask for an itemized bill.” Annually, consumers and insurance companies are hit by about $54 billion in either fraudulent or illegal medical charges, according to the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA), a nonprofit foundation. And while medical scams account for a large percentage of those charges, billing errors also contribute to the toll. Erroneous charges — including genuine mistakes — are often veiled by complex billing codes and undecipherable medical terms. Some billing errors seem absurd. For example, Bankrate.com, a South Florida-based independent research company — reports that billing errors have included $129 for a “mucous recovery system,” also known as a box of tissues. That fiscal care is recommended by the experts at Bankrate.com and NHCAA. Here is a rundown of other steps that you can take to safeguard your financial health. • Know your benefits . Closely review health care documents and track the paperwork from your insurance carrier, physician and hospital. Read every “Explanation of Benefits” statement, which provides a rundown of billing charges. Report any discrepancies to your insurance carrier and to the hospital. • Scrutinize “free” medical services. Although many community groups and non-profit organizations offer legitimate free medical screenings — blood pressure, vision, cholesterol test — there are also fraudulent operations that use so-called free services to gain access to your personal data, including your insurance information. • Safeguard your health insurance card . Treat it like a credit card. “In the wrong hands, a health insurance card is a license to steal,” according to the NHCAA. • Establish a medical log . Your records should include a list of tests, procedures, treatments and medications. Bankrate.com recommends that you ask a relative or friend to do the record-keeping if necessary. Those notes will be helpful if you need to challenge hospital charges. • Bring your own prescriptions . If you will be taking everyday maintenance medicine (for high-blood pressure or diabetes) while in the hospital, you’ll save a bundle by bringing your own. Check with your doctor. • Don’t be shy . Call the hospital or office billing department for a full explanation of confusing, questionable or obscure charges. Also if you don't have medical insurance, there are options for getting discounts for prescription drugs. This post is helpful: Cheap Drugs AAA (Triple A, the automotive club) also has a prescription drug discount program for its members.

Authorities Seize Monkey, Piranhas From Suburban Dallas Home

Posted on September 25, 2008 in Diabetes erectile dysfunction

Authorities have taken a monkey, an alligator, a tarantula and six piranhas from a man's suburban Dallas home after showing up on his doorstep to investigate a hit-and-run fender bender. Animal control officials last week cited Bobby Crawford Jr. on misdemeanor charges for his illegal collection of exotic animals. Crawford, 42, cried Friday when discussing Darwin, an 8-year-old rhesus macaque monkey he said he has raised since it was little. "I live for nothing else," Crawford said. "I just can't believe he is gone." Police came to Crawford's house Feb. 7 to investigate a car accident. Crawford invited them in, where Darwin was in plain view, according to court records. "I asked Mr. Crawford if he had any other animals he could show me and he replied, 'No,' " the officer said in court records. But the officer immediately noticed a 50-gallon aquarium, prompting Crawford to curse and admit the six fish were piranhas. Crawford also said he owned three American alligators named Godzilla, Blondie and Relentless. A 4-foot gator caught in December in a creek near a residential neighborhood was Blondie, Crawford said. One of the gators was confiscated Wednesday. The third has escaped, and Crawford said he does not know where it is. Animal control cited Crawford for the gator and the monkey. A report has been filed with the state wildlife department regarding the piranhas. Story here . monkey Labels: monkey, pet, seized cheap oem software buy software
